We hope this to be a community event for all, even those that do not play tennis! Where is the event going to be held?

The event will be held at the: Kildaire Farms Racquet and Swim Club, 162 Pebble Creek Drive, Cary, NCWe are excited that all of the courts will be utilized for this event, both clay and hard courts.

How does registration work?

Players will register individually through Court Reserve for the event here: https://app.courtreserve.com/Online/Portal/Index/6909On the day of the event, everyone will first come to the registration table to find their court number.  Head to the registration table for both Adults and Juniors to find out where you will need to go!

You may have to set up a court reserve login if you do not already have one, just follow the instructions!   If you have a login for yourself, you will need to 'add a family member' first.  The same goes if you have a court reserve account for your child, you will need to 'add a family member' to be able to add yourself to the account.

When does registration close for the Rally?

Registration will close on Friday, July 17th at 10 am in order for us to accomodate everyone and set up the schedules!

Where can I bid online for the items?

If you are going to attend the event in person, there will be over 30 items to bid on plus raffle tickets. We also have a select number of items that we will be hosting an online bid option here: Follow the directions to bid on some of the online items! This closes at 8:15 pm on July 18th.

For the auctions, what type of payment will be accepted?

You can bring a check, cash, venmo or pay directly through Coach Kirsties Go Fund Me.

Question 8

Do I need to bring chairs/seating?

Yes. We recommend bringing portable chairs or blankets. Limited seating may be available, but personal seating will ensure you’re comfortable throughout the event. You are welcome to cheer on your favorite junior or team!

Will there be food at the Rally?

We will have a number of healthy snack options for our players.  Plus we will also have Squeeze and Free food truck that will sell frozen lemonade and italian Ice.  We also hope to have Playa Bowls out sampling. We encourage you all to bring water to stay hydrated!

Does this affect my rating?

No. This is a fun, community‑centered fundraiser. Matches do not count toward USTA, UTR, or other ratings.

What is the mini stretch sesssion I read about somewhere?

Enjoy a 10‑minute assisted stretch session for $20 with Thai Stretch Studio, joining us onsite at the Rally for Coach Kirstie!   These sessions are designed to help players and supporters feel loose, mobile, and ready for the day (or match!). If you’d like to schedule a session ahead of time, review the possible open slots listed below. How can I donate if I can't attend?

You can still support Kirstie! A GoFundMe page has been set up, find out more here. Every gift makes a meaningful difference.  We will also be collecting raffle prizes, silent auction items and donations for the day of the event!

We welcome a variety of silent‑auction items that help raise meaningful support for Kirstie’s recovery. Popular items include gift cards, themed baskets, local services, sports experiences, fitness packages, and unique items from local businesses. If you’d like to donate an item, we’re grateful — every contribution makes a difference.

Some ideas could be: 
Local business gift cards — restaurants, salons, boutiques
Experience packages — tennis lessons, fitness classes, spa days, golf foursomes
Sports items — racquets, bags, apparel, signed memorabilia
Themed baskets — coffee, wine, self‑care, family game night
Services — photography sessions, home services, coaching
Travel - A night or two at a local hotel or perhaps a rental home for a weekend.

Do I need to sign up with a partner?

No. Our round‑robin format mixes players each round, making it an easy, welcoming way to play with others who support Coach Kirstie and enjoy tennis.

Can I purchase a Tshirt if I am not able to attend the Rally?

Exact date will be mailed out! You also have the option at the Rally to order shirts and the store will stay open until 7/30!

Is there a rain date? What happens if there is inclement weather?

There is no rain date planned for this event. In the event of inclement weather, all registration fees and donations will still go directly to Coach Kirstie to support her upcoming surgery and recovery. If weather prevents on‑court play, we will still hold our raffle and silent auction items online or onsite as appropriate, and all proceeds will continue to benefit Coach Kirstie. What is Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN)?

Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) is a rare neurological disorder that causes sudden, severe facial pain along the trigeminal nerve — the nerve responsible for sensation in the face. While uncommon, it is one of the most recognized facial pain conditions because of how intense and life‑altering the pain can be.

For many, including Kirstie, TN brings unpredictable episodes of sharp, electric‑shock‑like pain triggered by everyday activities such as talking, chewing, brushing teeth, or even a light breeze. After months of evaluations and specialist care, her medical team has recommended brain surgery as the next step toward relief and long‑term healing.

What is the difference between the adult/junior rally registration and the Champion registration?

Both Registration types support Coach Kirsite! 
Adult Rally — This is the standard tournament registration for adult players. It includes entry into the round‑robin event, snacks, water, and one raffle ticket. It’s designed for anyone who wants to play, support Kirstie, and enjoy the community event.
Champion Rally — This is a premium supporter level for adults who want to contribute at a higher donation tier. Champion Rally players receive everything in the Adult Rally, plus enhanced recognition, extra raffle tickets, and a fun thank you gift.
